Visual function is an important section for human beings toreceive and deal with information, nearly about70%of the informationderives from visual. therefore, the inconvenience caused by the visualdiseases to people’s daily lives has become increasingly evident. Visualinformation transmission system is a complex process, and anyone part ofit that suffers from lesion or damage will cause the deterioration of visualfunction, even affecting the normal life. As the technology improved,implantable prosthesis develops faster and faster, although our countrystarts late, we still make great progresses. Visual prosthesis research inrecent years has gradually been a hot topic, even though the implantedposition of prosthesis and the method is different, they include a fewbasic units, video capture camera、video signal processing unite、sendingboard、 receiver board and the stimulating chip.This paper builds a platform for a visual prosthesis. Through thisplatform we can achieve signal acquisition, processing, sending andreceiving functions. The core component of the power amplifier circuit isClass E power amplifier, and the energy and data transmission usewireless transmission of electromagnetic coupling. The stimulating chipon receiver board uses CI0902which is developed by TsinghuaUniversity.In this paper, the first section of contents is the Class E poweramplifier, which is applied in sending board, then improves the design ofreceiver board, and finally running algorithm on SSD-DM642, andcompletes Comparison test.
