In this paper, focus on the researching of ULC solution which produced by Infineon forultra-low-end mobile phones. Show the analysis of how to achieve the realization ofmultimedia features by increasing assisted processing chip. The paper introduces thecombining way of mixed-signal audio processing chip VC0968which produced by Vimicrofor mobile communications market and the low-end mobile phone ULC platform. Therefore,it will not only meet the market demand for multi-function of low-end mobile phones, butalso can make companies more profitable.Compared with the one witch directly use mobile phones chips with multimediaprocessing capabilities, the result shows that when using mixed-signal audio processing chipVC0968to achieve a variety of audio file playback, recording and other multimediacapabilities. It can not only achieve the same multimedia effects like normal multimediaplayer, but also greatly reduces the cost of handset manufacturers. And thus optimize theproduction chain, In order to promote the enterprise to a higher and deeper level.In the whole task of developing multi-media system, my main task is to develop thematching software with multimedia functions base on the project’s functional requirements.Including the analysis of software architecture in the multimedia system and design of variousfunctional block diagrams that required to build for multimedia features. From the initialoutline design to detailed design and the final codes for implementation, and make detailedtest for various modules and the system to ensure that the final prototype is well develop.Also assisted during the period about participated in the design of multimedia systems-driven,learning hardware processing, such as PCB circuit board wiring diagram and so on. Whichplay a significant role of how the hardware circuitry together with software achieving mobilemultimedia features.The mobile multimedia system is designed to be the lowest cost in order to achieve themultimedia features on a chip, so in the digital security certificate for this part is weak. Insubsequent versions should be considered to further enhance digital authentication features toensure the reliable of information transmission of and security.
