Recently, with the growing wine market there is an increasing requirement on theanti-counterfeiting technique.Nowaday anti-counterfeiting technique for the wine industrymainly foucuses on the physic layer and some mainstream approaches are under fastdevelopment (e.g., inkjet forgery, laser security and security code). However, counterfeits andshoddy goods, the behavious of stealthily substitution and goods storing are still appearing inthe current wine circulation market frequently. Therefore, in order to effectively combatillegal behavious and regulate the liquor market, it is necessary to establish a regulatorysupervision and tracing business model by using a new anti-counterfeiting technique. On thisbasis, RFID technology can effectively solve the problem by providing an unique electronicID card for each bottle of wine, recording and providing the complete information from theoriginal commodity production, storage, transportation, to the final sales. In addition, a supplychain based security and traceability management system can be established with the help ofRFID.EPC network, proposed by EPCglobal, has provided a workable solution to establish ananti-counterfeiting and tracing management system based on supply chain.But it still remainsin the theoretical research stage,lacking the large-scale enterprise appilication. Based on theEPC network and wine supply chain process analysis and research, this paper makes thefollowing three research results:(1) Combined with advantages of the current informationsystem and EPC network,we provide a wine anti-counterfeiting and tracing architecture basedon RFID,the architecture includes information service,discovery service and object namingservice.By configing the discovery service and object naming service,our architecture notonly contains the high reliability and stability in centralized model,but also has the high expansibility of EPC network.(2) By analysing the complete wine supply chain process,refining out attribute classification tree, and performing attribute encapsulation as well as typeexpansion according to the attribute classification tree.(3) Due to the requests from the upperlayer, an information service subscription query model including a subscription publishingmodel, an index mechanism and a matching model is implemented. Combining the4-layerindex structure with the predicate subscription coverage algorithm, the system is able togreatly reduce the number of invalid comparison and improve the matching efficiency. On thebase of atomic subscription, the algorithm of subscription spanning tree is expanded forefficient matching of composite subscriptions.Firstly, in this paper the background and the research status of the current RFIDanti-counterfeiting and tracing platform is introduced with the same as the research contentsand innovative points. Secondly, the current mainstream RFID anti-counterfeiting and tracingsystems as well as the EPC network based information service architectures are presented. Inthis part, the characteristics and deficiencies of the exisitings are discussed, our researchthought is put forward, and relating techniques are descriped. Thirdly, the overall design ofthe wine anti-counterfeiting and tracing system’s architecture, the design of the wineinformation service data model, and the design of the subscription query model are shown,espescially the attribute tree of the wine supply chain, the subscription publication model,subscription index model and the subscription matching model. Then the implementation ofeach model is descriped, and the MaoTai anti-counterfeiting and tracing system is used todemonstrate the system’s running effect. In the end, the summary of the full paper is made toshow the unsolved problems and our future work.
