This thesis studies the key technology and implementation methods of the RIA-basedremote monitoring&control system.The main research results are introduced in detail as follows:Firstly, the system framework and implementation scheme of the RIA-based remotemonitoring&control are proposed. The RIA-based remote monitoring client is designed torun directly on the web browser without installing any application software. The program isprovided with favorable cross-platform capability, system compatibility and security. Theserver, that is convenient to install and deploy, delivers data without processing.Secondly, the functional design and implementation scheme of the RIA-based virtualinstruments are proposed. This thesis introduces the design process and encapsulation methodof the Flex-based VI controls, and its encapsulation&call and none-programming buildingmethod in the Flex Builder IDE.Thirdly, the RIA-based remote monitoring project on the basis of virtual reality ismentioned. The information interaction method between Flex and VRML in VI context isexplained in detail. We get the real measuring data through virtual instruments to drive3dscene movements, thus to reproduce the running state of real instruments and realize the3dvisualization remote monitoring&control on site equipments.Finally, the thesis clarifies on how to construct comprehensive network server for theRIA-based remote monitoring&control system, which contains web services and C/Sresponse services. The DLL plug-in model is applied for the encapsulation of thetest-and-control board to realize the plug and play support on the board.Based on the above research, we design a remote monitoring&control system for theresearch object---the double let liquid level control system, which uses the Flex virtualinstruments to build the remote client,and the VRML model as a virtual scene to realizereal-time monitoring&control.
