With the development of socio-economic and the improvement of the quality of people’slife, continuity of power supply is more and more important. In order to ensure the continuity ofthe power supply, many important occasions are equipped with double power. The two-waypower can be switched effectively and accurately by double power automatic transfer switch.The overall level of low-voltage electrical is improved by continuous development of modernscience and technology, double power automatic transfer switch occupies a very importantposition in low voltage electrical field, so the importance and performance continuouslyimproved. Double power automatic transfer switch is widely used in various important loadoccasions.In this paper, the hardware circuit is designed and the software program is wrote based oncareful study of double power automatic transfer switch works. In this design, the S3C2440A ofARM chip as microcontroller, based on embedded Linux system, writing device’s drivers andapplications, acquiring the voltage and frequency signal of power supply, and the results aredisplayed on the LCD screen. If a fault occurs, the microprocessor would be control automatictransfer switching equipment, so that common power supply switch to standby power. Inaddition, anti-jamming measures of hardware and software are researched.In this paper, the design of double power signal acquisition system can detect the voltageand frequency signal of the two-way power with real-time and accurate, and the results aredisplayed on the LCD screen, meanwhile, the relatively advanced ARM chip and embeddedLinux system used in this design, increased the reliability, intelligent, efficient of double powerautomatic transfer switch and improve the overall value of the device, that can be used inindustrial field.
