With requirements growing rapidly in serveral passed years, Some gadgets, based on embedded system, such as handheld device, wireless device and digital home device, develop at a high speed. Since embedded Linux becomes more and more mature, lots of advanced features belonging to PC originally have been porting to these gadgets and getting a great briliant future. Bluetooth is one of the most successful technologyies, and its communication manner makes data transport on air much more easy and secure. Meanwhile, even wireless USB supporting, electronic consumers are popular with its Bluetooth function, such as wireless audio transport. All of these brings Bluetooth device into enormous market.Base on such exciting background of electronic consumer, this thesis describes theory of Bluetooth high-quality audio technology based on embedded Linux, which focuses on the platform located with a processor of XScale series. According to basic requirements and popular usage model, it analyzes both on feasibility and technology solution for Bluetooth voice and stereo, designs and implements data communication for high-quality audio between Bluetooth headset and embedded system. And what's more, seamless integration and switching with different profiles are supported to meet customer requirements as large as possible.First part of the article depicts development of audio techonology, embedded Linux system application and Bluetooth forthview. For efficient usage, it also compares some popular Linux Bluetooth stack. Then, it analyzes stack architecture, work models and data flow transport. Followoing chapter focuses mainly on how to analyze and design the high-quality audio system and seamless integration based on two different features. Implementation is the fourth chapter content, which delivers a whole platform solution containing hardware architecture, software implementation process, and some technology details. At last, it shows project conclusion and forthsight.
