Inductosyn, which is based on the principle of electromagnetic induction, is position detector.It is used to form the angle and displacement precise measuring, positioning and servo system.Because of inductosyn’s high precision, high reliability and easy to be fixed, it is widely used inaerospace, machinery, precision instruments, measuring and other departments.In order to measure angle fast and precisely, the angular amplitude-detect measurementsystem, which is based on incremental inductosyn, is designed. The angular measuring sensor canbe360-pole or720-pole inductosyn. The system uses AD2S80as resolver-to-digital converter andAVR MCU which is produced by ATMEL as DSP combining. The system includes excitationcircuitry, signal modulation circuits, AD2S80circuit, MCU circuits, display circuit and the dataacquisition software of the host computer. In MCU, the functions like digital filter, assignment andclear, switch in external synchronous source and internal synchronous source, minishing thedynamic error etc are realized. And data acquisition software of PC is written, liquid crystaldisplay and digital display are designed to show current location. The system has the followingvirtues of small volume, simple structure, high precision, and fast tracking speed, better noiseimmunity, working stability in the hard circumstances, easily operating and reading. And it hasvery high utilizable values.The angle-measuring system, based on absolute inductosyn, is also studied. The absolutechannel of the absolute inductosyn is1-pole inductosyn, and the incremental channel can be360–pole or720-pole inductosyn. Two channels combine with each other in DSP which is producedby TI. It not only improves the speed, but also ensures accuracy. The practice shows that thescheme is reasonable and feasible.
