The servo control technic is one of the key factor for the performance of aopto-electric tracking servo system. Presently controllers of the theodolite servo systemare almost by industrial computers with PC/104structure. This kind of controllers aremature and high reliability, but they are not special controllers. So research for newhardware structure and software design are needed.As the rapid develop of micro-electronics and computer technics, the computespeed of various processors of embeded system are notability improved, and the cost islower. They perform better in operation speed, and using embeded system is aorientation in O-E tracking servo control field.Considering the reasons above, the author designed a set of O-E theodolite servocontroller based on DSP and FPGA. The design of DSP hardware system, peripheralcircuit, control arithmetics and software achieve were particular discussed in thedissertation,and discussed the feasibility of real-time control.It discussed the structure and characteristics of O-E theodolite control system andameliorative digital PID algorithm in detail in the dissertation. Contrapose the design ofhardware,the author discussed software designing of the system, including functionmodule drive program and the main program design and realization. Introduced therealization of communications between computer and controller.
