Within the development of Internet, numbers of its users have alreadybeen reached an unprecedented level. The appearance of mass applicationsand various concepts springs up like mushroom, in which one of the mostsignificant uses is e-learning. After four-time revolution, e-learning hasalready changed from the unidirectional instruction to the interact feedback. For the purpose of realizing the target that assembles dispersed users just likethe traditional way in class, the concept of virtual classroom is proposed.Combined with basic collaborative function of online-meeting includingvoice, video, the electronic tabula rasa, documents sharing, and voting system, special training approaches, which contains hands-raising, the correspondenceQ/A and group discussion, may gain the same effects as traditional off-linemeans. Therefore, Virtual classroom has become an advanced technology inthe field of e-learning.After nearly20years, China’s internet penetration rate has risen steadily, however, considering such negative factors as difficulties in cross-networkvisiting and backbone link jam which resulted from the domestic networksseparation, virtual classroom does not take full effects. This research will primarily discuss on virtual classroom trend ofdevelopment, network characteristic, large-scale teaching solution, highredundancy of system platform, high availability and so on. Combined withCentra Virtual Classroom system, this research is based on the analysis andtest of national network to finish the cross-network and cross-boundarydistributional deployment of Centra virtual classroom system. Thus, it realizesthe following effects:1st, making it possible for users to the nearest access; 2nd, reducing the backbone network traffic flow and the requirement of thebackbone network by using the Centra Satellite Server;3rd, by usingload-balance and Centra Satellite Server to realize the system platform’s highredundant, the high availability;4th, realizing the integration of the abilityplatform and the business management platform by development APIinterfaces. Through distributional deployment of the virtual classroomplatform, the system may supply the national wide users good trainingexperience. This research has a brilliant industrial prospect, and it has strongattraction to the operator and the users. Besides, the research provides goodtheory and practice foundation for the development of large-scale virtualclassroom technology on the basis of cross-network and cross-boundary.
