Technical design is one of the important parts in automotive wire harnessproduction. With the intensifying of the global market competition and increasingwire harness complexity, wire harness manufacturing enterprises demand forcollaborative technical design strongly. Based on the actual need of enterprise andsome previous work of technical design, this dissertation introduces thecollaborative design technology into wire harness technical design, which hasseveral roles participation, complex engineering-oriented constraints and strictreal-time requirement. Then the framework and deployment of system are presented.At last, the key problems that need to be solved and the solutions are discussed.The main research work is listed as follows:(1) Put forward the framework and deployment of system. According to severalroles participation, real time and high expansibility in harness technical design,“three layer” framework is put forward, which contains server, interactioninterface and application services layers. And then the dissertation divides thefunction of system into three objects, including collaborative center, domainand client. The framework and deployment can reduce the data of variouscomponents transmission in the whole network, and has better expansibility andopenness;(2) Present wire harness technical representation in the collaborative environmentthrough investigating the features of technical drawings. Template technologyis used for encapsulating wire harness components, and the data of thecomponents is stored in XML format, reducing the storage and exchange data,and has better extensibility and portability. It builds wire harness technicalmodel, which separates the drawings and logic connotation and is ready for thefollow-up collaborative data exchange;(3) Design a conflict resolution mechanism. In view of engineering-orientedconstraints existing in technical design, it puts forward conflict detection andsolution method for engineering-oriented constraints. Then based on the systemframework and deployment, it gives a conflict resolution mechanism based oncollaborative domain, which deploys an effective solution to the real-timeproblem when several roles participate in collaborative environment.
