Science most crane anti-collision system in our country, which is a passive anti-collision system, has many disadvantages such as needs to set the brake height by human, has a fixed alarm location, needs to observation the position of traveling block by mannul and easy to cause a major accident and so on. To solve these problems, this paper researched the drilling rig crane anti-collision system based on the project of Top Drive intelligent anti-collision control system of CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Engineering Co., Ltd. in western Sichuan Drilling Company.First, the hardware design of the whole control system is implemented after introducing the component parts and working condition of the drilling rig and understanding the working principle and the main parameters of the various components, as well as selecting the optical encoder as a test device, selecting the TMS320F2812chip as a control device, selecting the solenoid valve as a executing device, using the QEP circuit in Event Management Module of the DSP to get the speed pulse signal from the optical encoder and working in solenoid value through the General Purpose Input Output(GPIO) of the DSP chip.And then, after calculating the speed of traveling block through the M method, controlling the speed of the preset alarm location of the traveling block by fuzzy PI algorithms and based on the DSP development tools CCS (Code Composer Studio) finished the software design of the whole control system.Finally, the system established the mathematical model of travelling block speed control system by using the fuzzy PI control based on the Simulink tool of MATLAB and completed the system simulation and carried the experiment according to the designed hardware circuit. The experiment and simulation results show that the system is able to display the speed and height of the traveling block, can control the speed of the traveling block using an intelligent method, can prevent the travelling block collisions the overhead travelling crane or smashes the wellhead effectively and has the characteristic of strong anti-interference ability, high practical value, good stability and can be widely used in oil drilling operations.
