Digital CR medicine radiation image is high in doctor’s favor and has become medicine imaging technology new hotspot because of its high gray contrast, powerful computer disposal function, little radiation dosage、non-film diagnosis、different area consultation. But degradation of digital X-ray medical image such as low contrast and blurring during radiographic imaging, caused by complexity of body tissue and effects of X-ray scattering and electrical noise etc., can worsen the results of analysis and diagnosis. So it is usually needed that CR medicine image is enhanced to improve its vision quality, and easy to doctor’s more accurate diagnosis.In this paper, according to the different parts of the human body CR image characteristic, take the airspace and frequency domain processing method to enhance, focuses on the three segment linear gray level transformation method, frequency domain CR enhancement algorithm, linear Unsharp Masking (UM) algorithm, nonlinear Unsharp Masking algorithm, the design of advanced image enhancement function preparation method, using the "overall frame and function module" structure, easy call and modification. And CR image enhancement experiments, achieved satisfactory results. The noise is small, linear Unsharp Masking (UM) enhancement effect is good; the noise is large, nonlinear Unsharp masking enhancement algorithms, the two algorithms have good application value. The CR head images via four ways to enhance treatment, and the use of the mean, variance, the peak signal to noise ratio processing result is evaluated objectively, that this linear Unsharp Masking (UM) enhancement algorithm in noise is small, the CR image edge enhancement effect is best.
