In deep space laser communication has been used because of deep space communication link is too long, so that it’s required for laser transmitter is relatively high. As applicable to the spacecraft, must be used compact, lightweight and efficient transmitter. Deep space optical communication in order to obtain a high symbol rate, first of all, we must improve repetition frequency of the laser pulse, deep space long distance requires laser with high peak power pulse laser with single mode, requires several watts of average power and the sub-microsecond time several kilowatts of peak power.In this paper, deep space long distance characteristics of deep space optical communication, the constraint conditions were analyzed, the launch technology is studied, including its main parameters. Master-oscillator structure with optical amplifiers(MOPA) is consistent with high power, high rate transmission requirements, MOPA pulse fiber laser emission program, select the appropriate seed source, and design of pulse seed source drive circuit, modulation mode for PPM modulation, through calculation we have achieved by calculating the requirements of a high transmission rate, multistage amplification by optical amplifiers, Used OptiSystem simulation reached a high power requirements.
