In recent years, with the LD-pumped solid-state lasers promising developments, directly pumpde technology were used by more and more people. The intracavity-doubled were conduct used directly pumped technology in this paper, proved that pump technology that is superior to direct indirect pump technology.1、The analysis of thermal load to their causes and solutions, and directly pumped can reduce the effects of this phenomenon are briefly described.2、Formula derivation and use of Maltab3D modeling techniques to compare the output image, Arrive at the fundamental frequency output wavelength of1064nm in the case, the slope efficiency and the threshold between directly and indirectly pumped’s comparison chart. And conducted a experiment comparison between880nm Nd:YVO4directly pumped and808nm Nd:YVO4indirectly pumped wavelength of1064nm fundamental wave.3、Describes the intracavity-doubled technology and doubling crystal. Been focused on the directly pumped880nm Nd:YVO4KTP532nm green laser experiment. By contrast in the880nm Nd:YVO4directly pumped redients to808nm Nd:YVO4indirectly pumped KTP crystal in the intracavity-doubled of the experiment, obtained that880nm directly pumped output performance has to a lot of superior than808nm indirectly pumped, is to enhance the pump’s output power, increased optical conversion efficiency,reduce thresholds.
