This paper realized resonator beam shaping by inserted diffraction optical element in cavity. The function and application of inserted diffraction optical element in beam shaping was discussed via analyze present situation of technique of wave transformation and different methods of laser shaping.According to the diffraction principle of the laser cavity, using the matrix eigenvalue analyzing the diffractive optical element resonator, through calculation, have got the a flat-top laser beam. By changing the order of the diffractive optical element and the length of the cavity, and calculate the optimum of diffractive optical elements of orders and the length of resonator. The research in this paper created theoretical basis for design of cavity with diffraction optical element and research of pragmatic beam shaping technique.
