Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a new technology that develops highly in recent years. It integrates wireless communication technology, embedded technology and information processing technology. In the WSN, there are multiple measures for WSN, and the network lifetime is the most important measure of network performance, network routing algorithm plays intense role in the network lifetime, efficient routing algorithm can effectively improve the network lifetime. There already are some classical routing algorithms, not matter which are plane or hierarchical, all of them can’t overcome their shortcomings, and no one algorithm is generic for all environments, we should accept different routing strategies according to the actual situation.This paper presents a non-symmetric clusters (BND-ACM) method based on the distance between the nodes and base station, for the uneven energy consumption of the within and peripheral nodes in the single-hop mode, taking the complementary mechanisms in different applications of nodes, can make a better balance of energy consumption between different nodes, except that, from the way of frequency of re-clustering(DCR) to reduce the network energy consumption, thus effectively extending the life cycle of the entire network.NS2simulation results show that, compared with classical LEACH and PEGASIS routing protocols, BND-ACM and DCR have a better balance of energy consumption of nodes and effectively improve the living time of the network, thus proving these two ways are effective.
