The Design And Optimization Of RF Front-End Circuit For Wireless Receiver

RF front-end is the core component of the wireless receiver. This thesis analyzes and design a wireless receiver RF front-end circuit, main consideration in the design consist of the system noise figure, receiver sensitivity, noise resist the features, and selectivity and stability. According to the2.4GHz receiver system indicator, the design consists of three modules of RF front-end:low noise amplifier, mixer and band-pass filter. The main work is as follows.Firstly, it made an introduction of the basic concept of RF receiver in Wireless communication system and made a detailed analysis of the structure and nature of heterodyne receiver.Secondly, According to the theoretical basis of the amplifier, a two-stage low noise amplifier was designed, LNA performance parametersrcenter frequency2.4GHz,800MHz bandwidth, a gain of19dB, noise figure less than3dBm.Performance meet the technical requirements through simulation optimization.Thirdly, it briefly introduced the performance index of band-pass filter in heterodyne receiver and designed a Parallel coupling line band-pass filter whose Center frequency was2.4GHz. The insertion loss was-1.045dBm, and the reflection coefficient of port one was-0.109dBm.Fourth, it made a design of a frequency of2.4GHz mixer, and made a comparative analysis of its performance. Local oscillator frequency is2GHz, the RF input power of-20dBm, LO input power of10dBm. Mixer circuit consists of three parts:micro-strip branch directional coupler circuit, low-pass filter circuit, the input and output matching network. Using ADS, system parameters meet the performance requirements.At last, a summary of this thesis was made.
