| The sea surface oil oil spill is the main source of marine pollution, it not onlyhas characteristics of sudden strong, great environmental&ecological hazards,but ithard to be recovered.Synthetic Aperture Radar(SAR)is one of the most effectivesensor in all of satellite sensors when monitoring oil spill in sea sruface for its all-time,all-weather, high spatial resolution characteristics.Due to the limited rang of theSAR imaging, SAR image can not provide the necessary geographical features andother related informatin used in oil spill monitoring or cleaning process. Theelectronic chart is now widely used in marine vessels navigation and positioning,itown rich information such as ship route,oil platform and etc and has high resolutionmap with easy comprehend,flexible in query and analysis.This paper aim tocombine the advantages of both electronic charts and SAR data in marine oil spillmonitoring, to resolve the related technical issues involved in overlay display, andthen to implement related functions using software programing.Electronic charts display and SAR data preprocessing are two key issues when inimplementing overlay display in software.We use Visual C++MFC as developmentplatform,chose Model-View-Controller(MVC) model as structure of the software, anduse the technology of geographic information systems ArcEngine secondarydevelopment to complete the establishment of the S-52international standard ofelectronic chart symbols library for rendering electronic chart point, line, surfacelayer,and to implement projection transformation in order to expand commonfunctions of the electronic chart. Associated withSAR preprocessing, we use the theGeospatial data Abstraction Library(GDAL) to read the common commercial SARdata, realize9SAR image speckle filtering algorithms, and to tomplete geometricprecision based on polynomial model. Finally, we complete the software programming of electronic chart and SAR image overlay display with friendlysoftware interface, fast display speed, easy operation and upgrade. This finishedoverlay software can provide reliable information support in SAR marine oil spillmonitoring. |
