Report system is an inseparable part of the enterprise managementinformation system, and its versatility and flexibility is a hot research field ofengineering applications. currently, The report system which is deployed inthe enterprises retain high degree of coupling and fixed format unless thesource code be modified for adding or changing the attribute information ofreport, can not adapt to the needs of the statements diversity and variability.This thesis gives deeply study of the report structure and type of display,and achieves a general report system for middle and small enterprise based onbuilding the internal relation among tables and designing a database tablestructure used to store the report definitions, its main works are as follows:(1) The advantages and disadvantages of the current general reportsystem is analyzed; the forward-looking and necessity of its design anddevelopment to be discussed; and the COM interop and application ofExt.NET have been studied.(2) A set of database table structure for storage of arbitrary datastructure of report is designed and the contents of every table and therelationship among tables are explained on the basis of analyzing thecomposition and division of report structure.(3) This computational process of the report generator is introducedfrom four aspects of temporary data structure, basic table, combinational tableand display format generation. The general report management system isdesigned and implemented based on the database table structure, the functionand operation of the report definition, generation and rights management aregiven.At present, General Report System has passed kinds of the performancetesting, and meets the requirements of enterprise. The system achieves goodresults in Anhui.
