A System Of General-purpose Statistical Report For Analyzing And Processing Trade & External Economic Relations Of Tianjin

To meet requirement of reporting trade & external economic statistics of Tianjin statistical bureau, a system of general-purpose statistical report for analyzing and processing trade & external economic relations has been designed under FoxPro 8.0 platform. Based on analysis on development and application features of current statistical report, several problems to be solved later have been proposed. Then, structure of the whole system including data acquisition, processing, verification, summary, integrated application and information issue has been completed. Finally, a test method and criterion to guarantee the system's stability has been presented.UCD method is applied during the design to satisfy the end users'demand. Considering most statistician's working habits, the operation interface, help menu, prompting message, jump term of keystoke are quite reasonable.Two main ideas, general-purpose report and intelligent client are used in programming, to make the system independent of statistical data and thus suits different report requirements. By using the intelligent client, the load of the client computer is simplified and the cost of system's maintenance is reduced.
