The Brushless DC motor with time-varying, nonlinear and strong coupling features. Traditional PID control is a simple, fast, high precision control strategy algorithm, but when the charged object mathematical model is uncertainty or non-linear, it is usually difficult to meet the system requirements for static and dynamic performance. Intelligent control algorithms such as fuzzy control, neural control, expert control, genetic algorithms is not depend on the precise mathematical model. Intelligent control methods combined with conventional PID can play a complementary role.Face to the complex issues of the brushless DC motor, the article focus on the application of fuzzy adaptive PID control in brushless DC motor controller. The main contents of the paper are as follows:First of all, This article describe the Present Situation of the brushless DC motor, analyze the basic structure and working principle of the brushless DC motor, establish the mathematical model of Brushless DC motor.Secondly, the article presents the fuzzy control theory and the neural control theory. The fuzzy control theory discusses the design process of the fuzzy controller and the principle of fuzzy adaptive PID controller. The neural control theory mainly describes the learning process of BP neural algorithm.Then, in this article, a trapezoidal back-EMF wave modeling method, the equation of state modeling method and transfer function modeling method for brushless DC motor body modeling, the conventional PID controller is used as the brushless DC motor speed controller, obtain the simulation control results and analyze. And then the fuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm and BP neural control algorithm is used to improve the speed controller. Analyze and compare three kinds of simulation results, come to the conclusion that the fuzzy adaptive PID algorithm has faster response and small overshoot of the advantages, decide to ued thebfuzzy adaptive PID control algorithm as a physical control method.Finally, this article use MATLAB to write the physical control programs, download the program to the PCC,use Kingview as monitoring software, analyze the control results, Verify the usefulness of fuzzy adaptive PID algorithm.
