| Video conferencing products as one of methods for network multimedia communication have become a new choice of people’s communication used in government office, business cooperation and scientific research areas. Because H.264coding standard has many advantages such as high coding efficiency, high quality of image effects and good network adaptability, it has been widely used in video communication.Movement estimate algorithm is the key technology of video compression, which dominates the efficiency of compression and the time for calculating. This paper introduced spatial correlation-based search range adjustment method, and combined with the maximum partial matching error-based partial distortion eliminate(PDE) algorithm, research a new algorithm for block motion estimation.The feasibility of the algorithm has been proved by simulative experiments, the number of searching points was decreased dramatically in the new algorithm and saved a lot of searching time without influence to image quality, which makes it more suitable for real-time applications. Then the anticipated research target was realized. |
