With the development of every aspect in society, comunication has been an important part in people's life, particular in technology, information transmission, enterprise managment, and so on. Not only is voice and data transmission needed, but also the transmission of graphics information is in great need. As an advanced modem comunication, television conversation has got wide application. Recommendation H263, a low bit rate video compression standard, is a critical technology in video comunication. In this article, firstly, technologis used in video compression are introduced, including picure sampling, encode mode and procedure of video compression. Then, recommendation K263 is presented in particular, and its technology characters are mainly discussed. At last, motion estimation algorithms which are used in the implementation of H.263 are discussed, and a new flexible algorithm which can be used in realtime video compression and low bit rate comunication is proposed After the implementation of this algorithm, its experimental data and performance are analysed in this article. The critical part in video compression, DCT transformation, is also analysed. |
