Because of the small size, long life, etc. of the semiconductor laser, which are widely used for laser pump sources, military, industrial and livelihood and other fields in recent years. However, because the limitations of semiconductor laser’s structure, the output beam quality is not good, and the semiconductor lasers can not be directly applied, and that the study of semiconductor lasers and coupling technology is shaping people’s attention.On the other hand, because of its low output energy, that how to get a high-power semiconductor laser output energy has become a hot issue. We use the methods of combining beam and the array of semiconductor lasers and other methods to increase its energy output, and we can get uniform spot through the transmission of optical fiber; Optical fiber is also free to change the direction of optical path, and it can transfer the semiconductor laser energy to the desired location.In this paper, on the base of the structure of semiconductor lasers, we has analysed the beam characteristics of the semiconductor laser, and designed the semiconductor laser light source based on ZEMAX. We use a single cylindrical lens for collimating, and the collimating efficiency is about95%, and we has analysed the error of single-die collimate by adjustments and the method of correcting; In order to increase the energy output of semiconductor lasers and get a good beam quality, we has designed a multi-beam combiner system in this paper with wavelength technology, and the system combine the two beam of980nm and808nm semiconductor laser together with wavelength technique, and we couple the combiner into the multi-mode fiber of numerical aperture of0.22and diameter of200through the focusing lens, and design the focusing lens. The coupling efficiency is78%~82%.
