With the development of semiconductor industry, the high output power, high efficiency of semiconductor laser has become the focus of the institute. In this paper, high brightness semiconductor laser fiber coupling system has been studied. It can achieve high power and high brightness at the same time and have a good prospect.According to the principle of incoherent beam combining technology,puts forward the design scheme of high brightness semiconductor laser fiber coupling system.four laser diodes are fixed in Insulation heat sink of step arranged. The fast and slow axis collimating lasers are directly coupled into the fiber. It can not only avoid the use of complex optical systems but also obtain higher output power. The fast and slow collimation lens and a set of aspheric focus cylindrical lens is self-designed through ZEMAX software,the whole system is simulated by TracePro software.Four laser diodes beam at980nm were coupled into a core diameter of200μm, numerical aperture (NA)0.22fiber via spatial combination. The fiber coupling output power is4.76W at current2A, and the system efficiency is72.1%.
