Angular accuracy and coaxiality are two important indexes for optoelectronic system, and traditional methods of measurement are not precise. The paper proposes a measurement method of angular accuracy and coaxiality based on the image process. For the angle accuracy measurement, This paper used adaptive filter algorithm, Otsu threshold segmentation, NC template matching algorithm and projection algorithm to process image in the electrical cross center position. First we utilizes image process calculation to get coordinates of theodolite electrical cross center, then uses the relationship between object and its image to convert coordinates of image to angles. For the angle accuracy measurement. The paper adopted linear gray transform algorithm, two-dimensional Otsu threshold segmentation algorithm, template matching algorithm based on invariant moment and projection algorithm to locate the electrical cross-center. After that, a circle was detected, and the radius of the circle was used to calculate the coaxial error. The method of measurement raised proposed is not only in high precision,but also full of convenience.
