A Study Of Rural Library Project Construction At Sishui County Under New Village Construction

For a long time, the development of rural culture in China has been in theneglected position. The unenlightened countryside culture greatly limits the ruralsustainable development. With the gradual development of new rural construction, thestate launched the rural bookstore project. Its appearance and development brokethrough the time and spatial limit, effectively integrated the resources of new ruralculture construction, guaranteed the farmers’ basic cultural rights and interests,practically solved "SiNan" problem of rural reading of newspaper and books, andeffectively promoted the sustainable development of rural culture, economy,education, etc.In order to have a better understanding of construction significance, developmentsituation and long future development, I take a multiple-method of literature reading,field research and questionnaire, and make deep study of rural library project in SishuiCounty, so as to gain a deeper understanding of cognition of rural library project andcontribute to the building of rural library project and socialist modernization. Thispaper traces a line of deep investigation, current situation analysis, questionretrospection, solution proposal, and brave innovation. It consists of8chapters andpresents a research and study of rural library construction at Sishui County fromdifferent perspectives and different levels. General speaking, the first chapter is anintroduction. Here I provide the research background and significance for generalreaders which can help them have a general view of the paper and enable the researchto follow a line. The second chapter introduces the relevant theories of new socialistvillage and human capital explanations, which clear the research goal and direction.The first and second chapters provide basic preparation for the followingchapters, and are essential part for a whole investigation. The specific direction of mypaper is the construction of rural library project at Sishui County. So after a thoroughanalysis of theoretical information, the third chapter is a systematic introduction of theeconomic development and current construction of rural library at Sishui County.Without practice, without speech. To further understand the development of Sishuirural library, The Sishui Through a questionnaire survey of the field research, and some of the problems identified in the survey described in Chapter, such so lack ofsupport from government, unscientific management, low study interest among farmersand inactivity of rural library. In the fifth chapter, I make a research of communitylibrary in US and rural library in Japan, and prepare some suggestion learned fromthem for better development of rural library in our country. In the sixth and seventhchapters, I propose some practical solutions and suggestions for future rural libraryconstruction at Sishui.At present society with highly economic development, single material life cannotsatisfy the needs of mass villagers. Villagers have more and more pursuit of spiritualculture, which shows increasing importance and necessity of rural library construction.With a case study at Sishui, I hope this study could help rural library gain acontinuous and sound development in China.
