The Construction Of3D Campus Community Based On3G Webmapper And Mobile Communication Technology

With the development of computer network technology and virtual realitytechnology, constructing the digital earth, digital city and digital community hasbecome an important direction of the development in the information technology fieldat home and abroad. At the same time, inspired by the mobile communicationtechnology, the mobile client based on mobile communication technology has becomemore and more popular, so combining the mobile client, WebGIS, Web3D,constructing three-dimensional services community based on internet and mobilecommunication is the trend of three-dimensional virtual communities.This paper designs and realizes the three-dimensional campus servicescommunity based on the3G WebMapper system, that is Third-generation networkthree-dimensional Landscape digital map production and publishing platform,developed by Marine Information Technology Laboratory of Ocean University ofChina. The main contents are summarized as follows:1. This paper summarizes the basic function and the application of3GWebMapper, and gives the details of the ways that realize the Web3D, meanwhile,introduces the idea that realizes three-dimensional show based on3G WebMapper andmobile client.2. This paper takes research on the techniques required by3D campuscommunity platform, including WebGIS based on Openlayer, Web3D, Rich InternetApplications developed by Flex and Mobile Client programmed by Android.Meanwhile, Flash and WebGL is focused on to accomplish the Web3D withoutplug-in, which emphasize on the pipe rendered by WebGL and third-party graphicslibrary based on WebGL.3. Carrying the research on the technique frame of the system, designing andaccomplishing the database and the function modules, which divide the system intofive parts, in terms of map service, exhibition of3D-website scene, public services, car sharing service and background information management.
