Laser scanning technology is a necessary component of the lidar technology.Inorder to meet the business requirements of the lidar wind field measurements, lidarneeds a scanning rotating mirror.The Article propose the design specifications of the small laser radar scanningrotating mirror, the drive design and modeling on Solidworks.According to theknown aperture70mm and motor diameter56mm,1:6and1:4are determined to bethe transmission ratio of the orientation and pitch. After the choice of the preciseresolver,two-piece gear fixed on its axis is used to eliminate gearing backlash impact,with a selected torsion spring attached on it. Slip ring transmit power and signal,while the structure rotate360degree continually.According to the modeling based on Solidworks,43W is selected as the motorpower. The finite element analysis of the scanning rotating mirror is based onSolidworks Simulation. The results show that the system designed has high safetyfactor, but has some redundancy that providing a reference for future design. Inaddition, deformation on the accuracy of the entire optical path should be3″which haslittle effect on the system.The positioning accuracy and the Horizontal Accuracy and precision of light path ofthe entire system are analysed. The Horizontal Accuracy and precision of light path havebeen tested and the results show that meet the demand.Finally, for the all-fiber coherent lidar,a new thought is brought out to the designof the scanning rotating mirror, which provide a reference for the future systemintegration and engineering.
