The Design And Realization Of Counselor Administration System In Vocational Schools And Junior Colleges

The education management has always been the key task in the colleges anduniversities which is also the major element in cultivating high quality and innovationoriented talents. In recent years, with the development of higher education, the teamsof counselors have become the main force of education management and politicalideology in the colleges and universities. Therefore, the function of counselor is evenmore essential in vocational schools and junior colleges. In analysis of the students invocational schools and junior colleges, it is noted that the routine management ofstudents in most of these schools are trivial and the workload is huge which occupymost of counselors’ energy. This greatly affects the orderly unfolding of theideological and political education of the students. Under the circumstances ofimproved campus internet, this paper discusses how to utilize computer andinformation technology to assist counselors deal with all kinds of daily managementand improve the efficiency of counselors in completing routine administration workso that they can put more energy into the ideological and political education of thestudents.Based on the real working demand of counselors, the triple structures of B/S areapplied. In addition, the Visual Studio2008platform is used as a basis in developingthe counselor administration system in the vocational schools and junior colleges.First of all, it illustrates the development background as well as the key issueaddressed by the program. On the basis of deep analyzing demand, the function needsto be realized by the system is assured which enables the task of systematic moduledesign and database design to be completed. The detailed illustration and analysis ofthe realization of each sub-system is given. After the completion of the systemdevelopment, the trial and test of the system is conducted in the real environment andthe basic condition of trial is summarized. At last, this paper makes a prospect of thefurther development of the system.The counselor administration system presented by this paper is appropriate formost of the vocational schools and junior colleges since the system function is concise and practical. In addition, the development and application have been conducive tothe routine education administration work of school and students. More significantly,it enables the work of vocational and junior college counselor s more scientific,standardized and efficient.
