At present, China railway freight train by train dispatching radio communication system of train tail, data communication through450MHz train dispatching radio communication system, mainly the following issues:train dispatching radio communication system of train tail and train dispatching radio communication system between same frequency interference is serious, in the hub area, causes the driver to difficulty check air pressure of train tail, affects the train start; train tail system uses four locomotive number for communication, locomotive number heavy number problem is serious, hidden safety problems. With the development of GSMR, it s very important to transmit train tail information to improve the rails transport efficiency. The construction of GSM-R network is carried out in stages, how to ensure that the train in a GSM-R section and450MHz section cross section runs, without the need for switching mode can realize the train tail information transmission, in order to solve the problem above, put forward train tail special locomotive radio development.The core of the software system is controlled by μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded system architecture, and the core of the hardware system is controlled by ARM (LPC2387),using GSM-R and450MHz wireless network as a carrier for train tail data communication, which can complete the real-time data recording, analysis, processing. In the GSM-R and450MHz two kinds of mode, fully meet the requirements of train tail system communication. This paper focus on the overall software framework and the design and implementation process of key software modules. Firstly, it designed each task of the software service modules designed in detail. It achieved reliable communication between each task by using of semaphores, message mail box and message queue. Secondly, it completed the transplant in the LPC2378CPU, and completed the software code implementation of FFSK modem based on CMX469, the software code implementation of voice prompts based on WTV020-S, the software code implementation of multi-channel serial transceiver based on GM8125. implementation of remote software system updating based on GPRS. Through the key software module test and the field use of the train tail special locomotive radio, it demonstrates that the train tail special locomotive radio software architecture has many characteristics, such as real-time, reliability and stability. Therefore the software system of the train tail special locomotive radio system can satisfy the requirements of the system of the train tail special locomotive radio.
