Design And Implementation Of The Embedded System Based On ETX Module

In this paper, the embedded system based on ETX is elaborated from two aspects, namely, hardware system design and software program design. On the base of an analysis of ETX2.6 Specification, to meet the demand of the actual condition, such as precision, reliability and speed, the embedded system based on ETX module has been designed. Most PC interfaces of the ETX module are designed in this board, these interfaces are consistent with universal PC interfaces including LAN, USB, VGA and serial ports interfaces. In addition, the system realizes some other function modules, such us 24-channel analog-to-digital function module and multi serial ports interfaces, which to meet the need of the demand.This paper first introduces the entire system design and design thinking, and then introduces the methods to achieve the specific modules. Finally, drivers and applications of modules are designed, and all the functions of the baseboard have been tested.
