PSM100KW Shortwave Transmitter Automtion System Design And Implementation

The predecessor of PSM100KW shortwave transmitter is418E/F PSM100kW shortwave transmitter made by Mainland company in US. PSM100KW shortwave transmitter relies on manual tuning and switching frequency. Many staffs are need for booting and switching frequency frequently. The automation of PSM100KW shortwave transmitter will greatly reduce the need of staffs, and effectively improve the quality of broadcasting.This paper introduces the PSM100KW shortwave transmitter, and the background of this subject. A proposal based on demand is introduced in this paper, especially the scheme of simulating manual tuning.This article describes the techniques of the various function modules, which including manual and automatic switching function, booting and switching frequency automatically according to the schedule, protection function, the function of data monitoring and fault processing, the function of remote monitoring and data exchanging, and the function of GPS clock synchronization.
