Guangxi province is a major sugar-producing area in china, sugar output accounted for more than half of the country’s total sugar production. Cane sugar industry is one of the main pillars of economic development in Guangxi province. Clarification is a key process of sugar refinery’s production process, and clarification key is control the pH value.First of all, this paper introduced the carbonated method sugar refinery’s clarification monitoring system in which the subject is located. The monitoring system is made up with lower computer and monitoring computer. However, the monitoring system has two week points:1) Have not collected the cane juice flow data which is a important impact to pH value.2) The control algorithm of the monitoring system is very simple and can’t achieve a very good result to pH value control. This paper presented solutions to the week points of the monitoring system:1) Installed3intelligent instruments in the industrial field to realize the data acquisition of cane juice flow.2) Adding an optimizing computer for monitoring system and realize the advanced control algorithm.This paper use BP neural network for modeling the clarification in section, the simulation results indicate that the model is very accurate, and can be looked as a simulation object of clarification. For the carbonated method sugar refinery’s clarification has a strong nonlinear, time-varying and multiple-input, multiple disturbances and other features.This paper use the fuzzy PI-feed forward control algorithm for the clarification pH value control, the simulation indicate that the fuzzy PI-feedforward control algorithm both have the nonlinear adjustment ability of fuzzy PI control algorithm and the resist disturbance ability of feed-forward control. therefore, the algorithm not only with accuracy but also with better robustness on sugar cane juice flow disturbance, the simulation result establish a good foundation for realization fuzzy PI-feedforward control algorithm in the clarification pH value monitoring system.
