| As a kind of non-renewable resources, archives are valuable for one country and play an important role in succeeding to the historical memory."There is no minor matter for archives safety which is related to the fundamental interests of the party and the state." There still exist some inescapable disasters which may threaten the safety of archives. The Wen Chuan Earthquake had raised wide and high attention of scholars and archives management administrators on this problem. Thus the construction of Remote Backup Base of Archives has become a research subject of great academic and practical significance.This thesis investigated and discussed the construction of Remote Backup Base of Archives (CRBBA) primarily in China. Firstly the current research status, significance and shortages of this field were analyzed. Then the construction flow, corresponding constructing and managing strategies of CRBBA were explained detailedly. Thirdly, the paper put forward how to select the base from the view of principle, standards and influencing factors. Fourthly, the potentially technological problem and management system during the construction of the base were discussed and resolved in this paper. At last, the author analyzed how to running and maintenance the base effectively to ensure the continuing development of the base. |
