With the development of information technology and the advance of educational informationization, these courses which are about practical operation and application of computer have become important, and they are expanded in the actual teaching process. However, traditional teaching mode, which is transfer-accept, can not meet the demand for these courses. In order to improve the efficiency of teaching and learning about these courses, it is urgent to change the teaching ideas and it is necessary to update traditional teaching methods and strategies.The core architecture teaching strategies is an order to teach, teachers help students to quickly build effective and comprehensive program of knowledge structure of learning content. It requires students to master the most common and most core knowledge content of the course, and in the actual learning and application process, focus on training students’ learning methods and interest in learning, to achieve a combination of theoretical study and practical application. Followed the theoretical guidance, the implementation of the practical operation of the computer culture foundation courses, core architecture teaching strategies can provide better guidance and reference, help improve the efficiency and quality of teaching and learning. Therefore, this study on the basis of summing up the core architecture teaching strategies, through the implementation of the FrontPage2003teaching of the Essentials of Computer Culture, and use of experimental research, questionnaire, classroom observation and interviews, to validate its effectiveness and the effect of different gender students, to improve the core architecture teaching strategies and improve the efficiency of teaching and learning.The article mainly includes five parts:The first part, mainly on the current research and theoretical basis for analysis of core architecture teaching strategies, mainly for the collection and analysis of teaching strategies, teaching methods and the computer culture the basic teaching of the relevant research literature of nearly12years; The second part, mainly for the definition of the core architecture teaching strategies, feature analysis, feasibility analysis of the strategy in FrontPage2003teaching and the difference between the core architecture teaching strategies and traditional teaching strategies, analysis and summed up the implementing measures of the core architecture teaching strategies; The third part is the implementation phase of the experiment, mainly through the implementation of the teaching strategies in teaching, view the teaching effectiveness of the implementation of, through questionnaires, interviews, classroom observations and work collection method to analyze the effect of the implementation; The fourth part, mainly use statistical analysis software as SPSS Statistics17.0and Excel2003to analyze and summarize the data, and analysis of interview content and students’ works; The fifth part is a summary of the study and future research directions.A certain extent, after study finds that the core architecture teaching strategies improved the teaching effectiveness of the basic computer course, and a certain extent, played a positive effect on student learning. Mainly summed up the following aspects:1. Students have mastered the learning initiative;2. Improved students’ binding capacity of theoretical learning and practical application;3.Stimulated students’ interest in learning;4.Improved students’ ability to solve problems;5.Cultivated students’ awareness of cooperation and exchange.
