As the development of electronic technology and information technology,people’srequirement of the information processing system processing speed is higher and higher.Especially in such as radar, sonar, remote sensing telemetry and aviation on processing andresponse speed demanding real-time signal processing system, how to improve the system offield real-time has become the key technology of restricted system performance and bottleneck.The ideas to solve the technical problems are following two aspects: the first is to improve thesystem performance from the device speed and performance; the second is using the signalprocessing algorithm that is more suitable for real-time system processing. This article is fromthe two aspects, in order to provide a comprehensive upgrade system processing speedsolutions with the real-time system.At first, this paper introduces the history of signal spectrum analysis in signal processingsystem, give a summary reference and review of classical spectral analysis methods andalgorithm and the method for resolution and sequence length due to this mechanism isproportional to the accuracy and processing speed of contradictions, and points outshortcomings of the system in real-time spectrum analysis. Then it leads to the idea of modernpower spectrum estimation, with the subject without reducing the resolution to reduce thesequence length, and then improve the processing speed. Later on it gives the significance ofthis research and articles on the structure and main tasks.Then it gives thoughts and modern spectral estimation methods used first. It proposed theAR model parameters based on the estimated, and gives the sequence of the model signalspectrum estimation equation Yule-Walker equation reconciliation of the equationLevinson-Durbin recursion. End of the paper, it discussed a practical solution of the equationburg algorithm.In the burg algorithm principle and implementation basis,it does a full spectrum ofsimulation estimates based on the sequence of the burg algorithm. To illustrate the burg short sequence of spectral estimation algorithm in relation to the classic has more superiorperformance spectrum analysis. In this chapter, the first carried out the algorithm and the FFTlength of different sequences in the simulation under comparison; then burg algorithm inspectral estimation problems in the simulation; finally, the burg algorithm fixed-pointsimulation results.Burg algorithm is used in ascending signal processing algorithm of speed; this papergives specific devices in the realization of the algorithm in order to increase the processingspeed.In this chapter it introduces the physical platform of the algorithm, and then given in thefixed-point method in hardware on the FPGA to achieve burg state machine FSM description.Finally, it produced the simulation results. At the end of this paper, it made the necessaryexplanation on some problems of burg algorithm, while gave a further prospected in-depthstudy of this paper and the work needed to be.
