Visualization in scientific computing is being applied in the field ofthree-dimensional modeling widely. Spatial data visualization in academic is knownas volume visualization, volume visualization was developed on the basis of scientificvisualization. With the rapid development of visualization techniques, ithas appeared as an independent discipline. Volume visualization has been one of thehottest issues of the visualization in scientific, which has great application prospects.In this thesis, firstly, it recommenders the conception of scientific visualization,and then introduces the field which is using it. Secondly, it recommenders3-Dvisualization and its modeling methods, including surface rendering, volumerendering and hybrid modeling rendering; The major of the paper studies the volumevisualization using in3D-dimension geological, the most important point isMarching Cubes.This paper studies the application in the visualization Marching Cubes algorithmin three-dimensional geological. After comparing the classical method which basedon borehole data to construct3D geologic modeling method of construction usingMarching Cubes algorithm, made a3D model based on geological contour lines ofparallel construct. And then with using the classical interpolation method MarchingCubes, the ISO-surface is extracted. Finally stitching those little images together anddisplay it. And then use AutoCAD and ObjectARX display its three-dimensional.
