The Weather Simulation System Based On Ogre Graphics Engine Design And Implementation

With the rapid development of computer technology, virtual reality technology hasbroad application prospects have been set up to be a high-profile hot issues in the worldin the computer field.Virtual reality system, virtual scene closer to real life, naturalscenery, in the scene to be simulated, such as clouds, rain, snow, fog and other naturalimagination, the simulation of these natural features directly related to the virtual realitysystem the composition of the human-machine interface, a more direct impact onpeople’s sense of immersion, thus affecting the overall system functionality andauthenticity.Therefore, the virtual reality of the virtual scene With the newrequirements.In order to improve the real-time virtual reality system and authenticity, this paperpresents a weather simulation system based on the OGRE graphics engine. Acomprehensive study made by the OGRE graphics engine has been successfully realizedthe weather simulation system based on the OGRE graphics engine.First, the simulationof different weather phenomena, abstract, weather simulation module; Secondly, on thebasis of OGRE graphics rendering, weather simulation module; Finally, the weathersimulation system through a dynamic camera for analog roaming.The results show that,weather simulation system based on OGRE graphics engine can render out to meet allcurrent hardware and software environment with a certain real-time and the authenticityof the weather scene.It also allows the user to roaming virtual world on the basis ofhuman-computer interaction.The weather simulation system in the study reflects the practical significance in thevirtual reality technology, and promote the value of the OGRE graphics engine.OGREhas characteristics (flexibility, usability, scalability) weather simulation has played animportant role.In addition, this study in the final adoption of the performance of thesystem before and after the generic algorithms and blanking technology made acomparative analysis of results showed that the generic algorithms and blankingtechnology not only greatly improve the authenticity of the system, but also improve system overall performance.
