Since 1990s, virtual reality as one of the most powerful technique has been a hot research spot in information field. In recent years, with the development of software and hardware of computer and increasingly aware of its important role, it began to be used in all aspect of life and showed a wide prospect.This paper is based on a specific topic, built a systems framework of virtual reality, and created a real-time dynamic structure for rendering. Interaction mechanisms of the virtual tour system to complete virtual environment was built by controlling the two-way real-time peripherals. Taking the actual circumstances of virtual tour and the characteristics of the OGRE rendering engine into account, and combining with the background and needs of this system application, a virtual reality system architecture based on the foundation of OGRE was designed. Main work of the paper included:(1)Based on the interoperability and reusability of virtual reality system, this paper designed the architecture of virtual reality system, containing three features: rendering side, network service and control client. In rendering side, the ORGE rendering engine was encapsulated, which enabled fast and real-time rendering;(2)This paper completed the smart interactive control of fitness bike with virtual environment based on DSP28335. Using the strengthen capture module ECAP of DSP, rate and direction information was captured, then the information was entered into a virtual environment in computer to achieve the interaction with virtual environment real-time and fast.According to the principles and methods of this article, a fitness bike interactive virtual tour system based on the personal computer platform was designed and implemented successfully. Control Panel could complete the connection with the platform of network services platform, acquirement of the control signal and displayment of corresponding render terminal information. Experiments showed that this system can be a better simulation for people to achieve real-time virtual interaction in the real world riding experience. And this system was highly modularization, all parts of the functionas were independence and could be applied to other virtual reality systems directly. In the follow-up work, this system will further the feedback control with external device will be improved to complete the real-time interaction finally.
