Based on infrared imaging system (IRIS) model and with the help of the compositor framework of OGRE (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine), the simulation of various IRIS physical effects is implemented in GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) in real-time.First, basic principles of IRIS simulation and all kinds of physical effects of IRIS are introduced; Second, after describing the system essential software and hardware environment, a real-time simulation software of IRIS is developed according to basic principles of IRIS simulation using Visual Studio 2003 and all kinds of physical effects real-time simulation of IRIS are implemented using the compositor framework of OGRE in GPU, furthermore, this software's simulation flow chart is given; Third, the influences of IRIS physical effects to system imaging quality are simulated using this simulating software, and the result data is also analyzed; Finally, frequency-domain filtering algorithm has a larger computational complexity and seriously affects the simulation frame rate, so frequency-domain and the performance of spatial-domain filtering algorithm is compared and the simulation frame rate is improved by spatial-domain filtering algorithm on the condition of meeting the needs of system. Furthermore, the error of spatial-domain filtering algorithm is analyzed. |
