The petrochemical industry is nineteen twenties with petroleum refining industrydevelopment and formed, with the development of society and economy, petroleum andchemical industry in the national economy is becoming more and more important withthe development of modern industrial production, to improve the degree of automation,especially computer technology, automation technology is widely used in the industrialproduction, various equipment function is perfect with each passing day, work theefficiency is greatly improved. But at the same time the equipment structure isbecoming more complex, it is potentially a crisis: once somewhere failure, will cause achain reaction, causing huge losses to industrial production. Therefore, for thepetrochemical system, the electrical equipment safe operation reliability is critical, tomeet the quality requirements of the situation the pursuit of the lowest cost to achievethe ultimate goal, which is one of the important measures to adopt scientific monitoringand fault diagnosis of electrical equipment maintenance, to early detection equipmenthidden trouble, and in the a short period of time to solve the electrical equipment faultto improve equipment reliability, reduce operating and repair costs.Fault diagnosis of electrical equipment problems in the system are: electricalequipment of continuous operation and the linkage, but mostly rely on artificial faultdiagnosis, lack of automated diagnostic test method; a large number of new employees,job changes, so that employees could not inherit the original diagnosis experiencewithin a short period of time; PLC control system does not have the automaticacquisition and storage expert knowledge of the function simply by PLC fault diagnosissystem for the intelligent degree is rather limited.In this paper, according to the site actual condition, study the diagnostic knowledgeacquisition, diagnostic knowledge representation, the use of programmable logiccontroller (PLC), WEB database, modeling, analysis and design of electricalequipment fault diagnosis system, and the development of a prototype system.The system hardware platform is mainly PLC and host computer connection.Using iava programming environment, the development of beneficial interaction interface, database using MySQL. System after the operation, the test results aresatisfactory.
