With the development and popularization of our higher education and themanagement and organization of examination become more and more complicated,thetraditional method which makes use of pens and paper can not satisfy the effectivedemand.Developing Online Examination system not only benefits to sharing resourceof teaching and studying, giving scientific commentary on effect about teaching andstudying, reasonable arranging teaching and studying, but also helps teacher to improveteaching skill, giving them more time to carry on scientific research and innovation ofteaching.Based on the situation of JJU, the article gives the steps which include requirementanalysis, designation, development and implementation of the Online Examinationsystem. Full used Struts, Spring and Hibernate’s feature, the Online Examination systemdesigned SSH framework which combined of these three web frameworks. In thecombined framework, Struts completes page displaying and answering user’srequirements which is presentation layer’s function, Spring completes the business logicand management of application programs which is business logic layer’s function;Hibernate completes interactive with the database which is data persistence layer’sfunction. By using SSH framework, resolved the difficulties in web development whichcaused by complicated framework. Another,the article uses RBAC to resolve thesecurity problem which user’s access control.According to user’s duty,we differentiateusers role as administer,teacher and student.We definite the relationship between roleand user, classify all operations which throwed on object in the system, and establishthe correspondence relationship between functional block and operation whichauthorized on object.By the correspondence relationship between role and user,role andfunctional block, functional block and operation which authorized on object,the systemrealized different users access control,ensured access control security.The Online Examination system has been used in JJU for a moment, it’sdependable ability appears that the system has got a good effect.
