Design And Implementation Of The Students Online Examination System Based On B/S Architecture

The development of computer network technology largely contributed to the development of education. With the development of the times, the traditional paper-based exams will become less and less. In recent years, with the popularization of computer technology, the students' online examination system began to enter the people's vision. Previously, traditional examination will go through at least several steps from the organization of the examination to the final end of the exam. This not only increases the burden of students but also does teachers. Therefore, the traditional paper-based exams are no longer suitable for modern teaching needs. In recent years, the emergence of virtual teaching online platform expands people's horizons. People have become increasingly aware of the importance of combining the computer technology with the modern teaching technology. In the application process of these techniques, not only ensured that the various test fair, objective, but also reduce d the burden of teachers and students, at the same time, improved working efficiency. At present, many computer school is in the application of online teaching and examination of these modern teaching and examination methods. So, it is very important to design online examination system.In this paper, online examination system uses Java as the development language and technology platform. This system is a test system based on B/S mode,and the key technology is mainly database access and data format conversion what we called data processing problems. When students login the online examination, they need only a browser and can realize the system login.In the development process, we have carried out detailed consideration from system requirements analysis, design and detailed design. The system carries out a detailed needs analysis, including the business requirements, the functional requirements, the data requirements, the business process diagram. This paper uses class diagram, which gives the system concept and the use case description. Based on the students' online examination system, there are the overall design of the online examination module, the result inquiry module, the system background function module and the other functional modules. In this paper it discusses the module designdiagram, the sequence diagram and flow chart, the detailed design, the interface design, and the entity class diagram, the E-R diagram and the database structure of the database design. At last, the content of the study summarize about the author's work,points out the deficiencies of this paper, and the further work is prospected.
