With the development of knowledge based economy, cyberization andinformatization, as well as the construction of E-commerce and E-government, OA(office automation) will be the new running mode. The task of modern of modern officewill be the improvement of the whole efficiency of government and enterprises insteadof simple file management and administrative work, and it can improve the centerrivalrousness of government and enterprises and units.Knowledge management can help the government and enterprises to settle theproblem about the sharing and reusing of the knowledge. Based on the JACAtechnology, the author designs and realizes a new kind of well-functioned OAinformation management terrace, which takes knowledge management as its core. Thispaper firstly gives readers the general information and development technology of OAsystem. Next it comes to the function and frame of this system. And then it discusses itsfunction design and realization of key technology in detail. Finally, it presents thesystem integrating and publishing to readers.The purpose of this thesis is to built a kind of intergrading modern coordinatedoffice terrace, and let the members realize working in coordination and knowledgemanagement. In the designing and realization of this task, the author explores themethod of need analysis according to the relevant theories of the modern softwaredevelopment. In the designing and developing process of this terrace, the authorintroduces some advanced software development ideas such as coordination, workflow,and knowledge management. The author uses modern equipment to finish the framedesigning of this system. Having fully mastered and comprehended the customers’ need,the author firstly designs the system as a whole and then puts forward the frame for theoperation of the system. This lays the foundation for the coding of the system. On thebasis of J2EE criterion, this system realizes knowledge management and distributedoffice by JAVA/XML technology. Knowledge management can make sure that all kindsof documents (including all kinds of files, knowledge and information) can be stored,shared and used within the limits of their authority. There also is a convenient way of searching. This way is the root of learning organization. The system supportspoly-branch organization, trans-regional office model and moving office, so it can easilysettle the problem in distributed office. The author uses various testing technology toimprove the system. In the process of testing system, the author did testing on function,performance according to some testing technology. In the testing, the author putsforward the homologous measures to existent problem. This provides good referencewith the improvement for next running and mending of the system.
