With the development of information technology, the size of the mobilecommunication network is also gradually increase the reliability of network equipment,and stability for the network operators are very important things. Home LocationRegister (HLR) is the central database in the mobile communication system UMTS,static holds information about all registered in the HLR, the mobile user, its status isessential. Once any form of disaster, the operators, the blows would be devastating.This paper first analyzes the architecture of the mobile communication system,and then from the point of view of the communication system HLR equipment, disasterrecovery, four different disaster recovery, including:"1+1" disaster,"N+1" disasterrecovery way,"N+X" disaster recovery, distributed disaster recovery mode, fourdifferent disaster recovery for different users and the network size needs.Then,the paper designs an effective the HLR disaster recovery equipment fromthe equipment needs analysis described the location of the device in the mobilecommunication network, and the capabilities of the device, and discusses the design ofthe deviceconsider the operational measures and the HLR disaster recovery equipmentto put forward a clear technical indicators.On this basis, given the equipment, system design, including design elements toconsider in the design of the HLR disaster recovery equipment, data synchronization ofdata between the different disaster recovery equipment, the processing power of thedisaster recovery equipment,system-level design decisions, system architecture design.Which defined the system architecture, the system’s overall design architecture, anddescribes the various components of this architecture into the role played by these partsin the system.Equipment system design based on the disaster recovery equipment hardwaredesign and hardware design of the equipment is given a specific program, includinghardware design features, selection of hardware devices form used in the hardware keydevice,internal connections and components. Also considered in the hardware design of thermal power design, security design and dust-proof design.At the same time in the hardware design, software design of disaster recoveryequipment are described, including design ideas, when the HLR disaster recoveryequipment, software design, software measures, console and equipment agentdistribution on the hardware, the physical layer functionsmodule design, moduledesign of link layer functions. In software using a modular, hierarchical combination ofdesign principles and discusses the detailed design of the device management consoleand the the device-side business processes and implementation.This article last deployment of the device was introduced, and future deviceapplication prospects.
