| With the gradual expansion of university scales, sharp increase in the number ofmajor university enrollment, every year the day of freshmen registration, thousands offreshmen pour into campus together, which has brought great pressure to welcomefreshmen, and which also tests the level of management of university. How to makegood use of limited resources, reducing the registration link, accelerating the speed ofregistration, arranging freshmen to live in dormitories as soon as possible becomes thekey work in welcoming freshmen. This makes the Web-based registration model cameinto being, which solves the possibility of interaction between the students and thesharing of data between departments. So development of web-based registration systemhas become a major university management priority.Registration system design is good or bad depends entirely on the registrationprocess is reasonable or not, which directly related to the registration efficiency.However, registration system based on network information systems fully reflects theinteractive, shared advantages. The registration system is intended to reduce theregistration link, accelerate the speed of registration, show efficient and orderlyfreshmen registration procedures. Therefore, the registration system design must bebased on interactive, shared characteristics, and combine university unique managementto optimize the existing registration process.This paper, registration system design using object-oriented modeling approach,according to the registration process, combined with the Shanghai Finance Universityregistration system project, using the Unified Modeling Language UML, uses visualmodeling tools of Visio2010to model the system. Systematically analyzes all aspectsof the registration system, establishing functional model, and according to departmentmanagement needs, gradually refining the functional model, creates an object model. Asthe registration system needs a strong interaction, so the depth of functionality toachieve a variety of activities during the analysis is particularly important, not only tocreate a dynamic model, but also to enhance understanding of the system. Finally, it use the relational schema normalization theory for data analysis to create data model.Eventually, a more complete UML model is taken shape, which becomes the foundationfor the development of registration system.Finally, this paper, taking B/S structure of the three-tier approach, using visualstudio2010development tools, SQL Server2005database and object-orientedprogramming language C#, develops a set of based on B/S structure of universityregistration system to solve heavy flow of freshmen, many links of registration,complex processing procedures and many other disadvantages. |
