In the21st century, with science and technology rapidly develop, information industry began to take shape, information technology and network technology widely applied of the political, economic, military, cultural and other fields have more profound impact. Population information resources are the foundation of human society’s most precious resource, is the development and implementation of national policies, regulations and guidance an important basis for economic development.Today, the information office in people’s life and work to bring the enormous influence, the development of computer technology, greatly changed the traditional way of working. The traditional information management of people often use the paper carrier information, information recorded, convenient store information, brings a lot of problems. The key lies in the traditional information and records according to managers cannot be used for information query information in time sequence information input, managers should from thousands of personal information found in the key information. So we develop information management system, the population is more convenient and easy to search information, managers, and maintain effective data provide strategic information.Population Information Management System integrating data resources, improve the quality of population-related data, reduced administrative costs, reducing waste of resources, it is important to strengthen information sharing between departments to improve the government’s public service. Population Information Management System is major population sector management software, the convenience of a direct impact on business and management norm. With the information age, the increasing demand for efficiency, so the computer has replaced the traditional manual management mode. Through the use of population information management system, these merits which can greatly improve the efficiency of information processing, can enormously enhance the efficiency of government, is the important scientific and standardization management.Foretime, population information management process there is a lot of tedious manual operation, in order to reduce the workload, avoid errors and improve efficiency, the problem can be solved urgently need a system to meet these needs, so only the subject of Population Information Management System.Using object-oriented method, the integrated using of database technology, program design technology, combining population management knowledge, and to JAVA as system receptionist application development tools, the ACCESS as backend database, through JAVA controls enable both the connection and thus for the system software development. From the entire system to operate and friendly interface, flexible, practical, safe, based on the requirements of the cadres management system has the following functions:basic information recording, modifying, querying, deleting module, information typing, calculation, inquiring the system, and user settings and system maintenance. For the govment management consulting, information retrieval and information access service basically can satisfy the modern population information management’s needs.This paper desighed an integrated management information system, won’t happen information omission or data input is not correct. It has the characteristics of simple, fast and convenient query, user interface friendly, easy to produce printed reports and so on.
