Design And Implementation Of The Provincial Population Information Management System

Provincial population information management system can accommodate 100 million records. It is used to manage information on the resident population in Zhejiang province. The system relies on a comprehensive public security information network resources to implement inter-regional, cross-sectoral demographic information quick query, such as correlation analysis, on-line processing, shared using, citizenship verification, the household registration business, second-generation card information management and etc. The system is designed and developed to provide fast queries and verification on demographic information for the officers and public security organs at all levels in the province. And consequently, we can establish information sharing and operational coordination mechanism between the other public security applications system and us.This thesis consists of two blocks of content: The first one describes the designing of the provincial-level population information management system. Employing the system, we can easily make single query and satisfy identity card print, information check. And importantly, the feedback of information from those cities and the compression and decompression of the dataset can also be implemented in the province level. The second block of the thesis is the implementation of the system. We employ Oracle as the background database management system and OOP as the designing idea. J2EE is used as the designing framework to implement all functions as described in demand analysis.The thesis presents the sketchy solution of the population information management system. The database of the system consists of population information, business's corporation, core business of population management, data exchange service and etc. The framework is consistent to multi-layer idea, which includes the layer of database service, application service, data present and etc. Using such framework, the interaction between user and computer, business's logic and access of databse can be rationally arranged and thus the advantage of multi-layers framework can be greatly exhibited. The core of the province-level population consists of all levels population network. The main technicology is the application of network which corporates with many communication styles. Inter-system and distributional processing are also supported. Advanced enterprise-class e-government platform is the solution framework for pulic security, which consist of three parts such as e-government system framework, WEB application and enterprise applications. The extensibility of the system is assured by the designing of modularization for the access of great users. The advantage of the system is low cost and high efficiency of development. The cost of the system maintenance is also low.This thesis describes in detail the provincial population information management system function modules and implementation. The system software includes in general the following functional blocks: system management modules, the information query module, data loading and maintenance of the module and population management services module.Future work will focus on improving the system's functionality, make the system function more integrity. We want to realize the efficient application of the systems, and better public security operations and basic information service.
