YIG tuning oscillator holds broad-spectral-bandwidth, adjustable, low phase noise,high-linearity characteristics. It is widely used in microwave, millimeter wave militarysystem and high-grade test instruments.This paper illustrates the building of equivalent circuit model by using high-Q YIGball harmonic oscillator and employing the ferromagnetic resonance theory. Microwavesimulation software optimized low noise YIG resonance coupling structure andoscillating circuit, and thus, low phase broad bandwidth YIG oscillator has beenachieved. MAXWELL3D software and heat treatment technology make high linearityand low phase hysteresis miniaturization magnetic circuit come true. Also, digitalization,high temperature and good linearity of YIG oscillators have been achieved in this thesis.Finally,4~8GHz low phase noise YIG oscillator has been produced and testifiedthe same with design. |
